Studley Royal, Hackfall and Kirkby Fleetham: landscaped during the 18th century by John Aislabie and his son, William. This compilation of historical and contemporary material asserts the continuing stimulus of the landscape garden. As the inaugural publication, it set the agenda for the New Arcadian Press.
